Elephanta Caves

Elephanta is situated at 10 k.m. from Gateway of India. In sixth or seventh century these caves were dugged. Idol of Brahma, Vishnu Mahesh is famous. It is the best evidence of Hindu Sculpture. Destroying of Andhak, Nuptial of Shiv-Parvati, Gangavatarn, Maheshwar, Ardh Nari Nateshwar, Meditation Other Artwork etc.
