Mahalaxmi Mandir

This is very old Temple in Mumbai.This grand temple is located on the northan slop of Malbar Hill facing the worli bay. It has idols of divine grace of Laxmi and Vishnu. This temple is too crowd on tuesday, friday and during the grand celebration of Navratri Festival. There is a myth that in 1912 Governer Hornbi started fancing the sea but was not able to complete it At the time of construction, contractor Ramji Shivaji Pathare had dream of goddes Mahalaxmi saying to remove two more iodle of goddes from the sea and to place it in the temple, Contractor did the same and then they could complete the work. From here one can see the Haji Ali.
