Chutney : Dry Fruit Chutney And Raw Mango Chutney
Dry Fruit Chutney
INGREDIENTS
- 100 gms raisins
- 7 - 8 dates, chopped
- 7 - 8 apricots, seeded and chopped
- 50 gms jaggery
- 1 tsp onion seeds
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp rock salt
METHOD
- Mix raisins, dates and apricots with onion seeds and salt and keep aside.
- Make a thick syrup of jaggery and vinegar over a low flame and add to above mixture.
- Boil for 5 minutes. Cool.

Raw Mango Chutney
INGREDIENTS
- 100 gms raw mango
- 50 gms jaggery
- 7 - 8 pods garlic
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp mustard seeds, coarsely ground
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- Few curry leaves
- Salt to taste
METHOD
- Wash and dry mango thoroughly. Cut into small pieces.
- Combine all ingredients and grind in a mixer.
