Raita : Banana Raita And Tomato Raita



Banana Raita

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 banana (100 gms)
  • 1 cup curd (ISO gms)
  • 1/4 tsp mustard powder
  • Salt to taste


METHOD

  1. Peel and cut banana into thin slices.
  2. Beat curd well.
  3. Add banana, salt and mustard to curd.
  4. Mix well.

Tomato Raita

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tomato (100 gms)
  • 1 tbsp peanuts, roasted
  • 1 cup curd (150 gms)
  • 4 stems coriander leaves


SEASONING

  • Salt and red chili powder to taste


METHOD

  1. Chop tomato finely.
  2. Grind roasted peanuts coarsely.
  3. Chop coriander leaves finely.
  4. Whisk curd to a smooth consistency.
  5. Add chopped tomato, peanut powder, salt and red chili powder. Mix well.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
