Raita : Cucumber Raita And Bottle Gourd Raita
Cucumber Raita
INGREDIENTS
- 1 banana (100 gms)
- 1 cup curd (ISO gms)
- 1/4 tsp mustard powder
- Salt to taste
SEASONING
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 4 flakes garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 2 tsp sugar
- Salt to taste
METHOD
- Blanch tomatoes.
- Remove skin.
- Saute onions in butter.
- Mix ingredients with the seasoning and puree in a mixer.

Bottle Gourd Raita
INGREDIENTS
- 1 apple (100 gms)
- 1 cup milk
SEASONING
- 1 tsp cream Pinch of nutmeg powder
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
METHOD
- Peel and dice apple. Cook in milk for 10-15 minutes. Cool and blend in a mixer.
- Beat cream, adding nutmeg powder, lemon juice and salt.
- Mix all ingredients to a smooth consist.
