Salad Country Garden Salad

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup tender fenugreek leaves
  • 100 gms white radish
  • 100 gms carrot
  • 100 gms cucumber
  • 100 gms tomato a
  • 50 gms onion
  • 2 tsp roasted sesame seeds


SEASONING

  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 - 3 flakes minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp grated coconut
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder (optional)


METHOD

  1. Julienne white radish, carrot and cucumber.
  2. Cut onion and tomato lengthwise.
  3. Wash and wipe fenugreek leaves. Chop coarsely. If leaves are tender, use whole.
  4. Mix all vegetables in a bowl. Add sesame seeds and garlic.
  5. Season with lime juice, cumin and chili powder and sprinkle salt.
  6. Garnish with grated coconut before serving.
