Salad : Morning Glory Salad
Morning Glory Salad
INGREDIENTS
- 100 gms. beetroot
- 50 gms fresh green peas, boiled
- 100 gms orange
- 100 gms peach
- 30 gms cottage cheese
- Few lettuce leaves
SEASONING
- 3 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Capsico sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt to taste
METHOD
- Boil beetroot till tender. Peel and slice.
- Peel and segment orange, remove pith.
- Cut cottage cheese into cubes.
- Stone peach and slice lengthwise.
- Smear beetroot slices with lemon juice and salt.
- Combine fruits, green peas and cheese pieces in a bowl. Add dill sauce and stir gently.
- Line a salad dish with lettuce leaves. Arrange beetroot slices on lettuce leaves.
- Place fruit and cheese mixture over slices.
- Sprinkle grated ginger and pepper powder over salad. Chill and serve.
