Vegetable And Lentil Salad

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 30 gms moong dal
  • 15 gms Bengal gram dal
  • 1 cucumber (100 gms)
  • 1 carrot (100 gms)
  • 1 small beetroot, peeled (100 gms)
  • 50 gms raw mango
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped


SEASONING

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • Few curry leaves Salt to taste


METHOD

  1. Soak moong and Bengal gram dais overnight. in fresh water and drain.
  2. Grate cucumber, carrot and beetroot coarsely.
  3. Peel mango and chop very finely.
  4. Combine dais, grated vegetables, raw mango; chopped green chili. Add salt and sugar. stir gently
  5. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, roast till and add curry leaves.
  6. Drizzle oil over salad mixure.
