Vegetable And Lentil Salad
INGREDIENTS
- 30 gms moong dal
- 15 gms Bengal gram dal
- 1 cucumber (100 gms)
- 1 carrot (100 gms)
- 1 small beetroot, peeled (100 gms)
- 50 gms raw mango
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
SEASONING
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Few curry leaves Salt to taste
METHOD
- Soak moong and Bengal gram dais overnight. in fresh water and drain.
- Grate cucumber, carrot and beetroot coarsely.
- Peel mango and chop very finely.
- Combine dais, grated vegetables, raw mango; chopped green chili. Add salt and sugar. stir gently
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, roast till and add curry leaves.
- Drizzle oil over salad mixure.
