About us
Manoribel is an enchanting hotel with a beautiful view of the wide expanse of beach, sun and sea, unbelievably, in an island in the midst of Mumbai. Even with the hustle and bustle of Mumbai not more that 15 to 20 KMs away, Manori stands as a quiet and peaceful island with Christian, Portuguese and Hindu influence and churches that are much the same as they were in the 16th century.We have had the opportunity of entertaining people from varied backgrounds and professions including doctors, artists, scientists, photographers, actors, businessmen and... the list can go on and on... We owe our gratitude to them since it is they who have contributed thread by thread to the moral fibre of our hotel and so by evolving through time Manoribel has become a sanctuary of the body, mind and soul for people from all walks of life.
Manoribel hotel sits completely at peace with the bird sounds and the bubbling surf, and yet it offers modern amenities, comforts and cleanliness that make it the right retreat for the city-weary visitor. It is unique with only 20 rooms sitting on approximately seven and a half acres of lush green land with enough space for each person to do his own thing, relax and be close to nature.At Manoribel, amidst the gentle shade of casuarinas and palms, you may worship the sun, splash all day in the sea or look for the turtles, tortoises and fish that are sheltered in different corners of the hotel. Stroll at leisure through lush farmland or sit in the tree-house where you may catch a fleeting glimpse of a kingfisher.
At Manoribel's restaurant, the Toddy Tapper , you can feast on 'home' fare; genuine East Indian cuisine: and it goes without saying that the piece de resistance is usually seafood.

Don't Miss:Approximately 3 Kms from Manoribel hotel stands a church with a fifteenth century altar built by the Portuguese Approximately another 4 Kms from the church stands a light house that gives you a panoramic view of Mumbai on one side and the ocean on the other side.
Essel World and Water Kingdom, Mumbai's most popular entertainment parks are very close to our hotel.
Then there is the very famous temple of GaganGerri Maharaj which have the footsteps of Lord Shiva near the ferry warf of the island.
